Even with the poor medical help available, the life expectancy in Japan has grown. Since 2013, a boy in Japan is expected to live 80.21 years, instead of 79.94 years in 2012. A girl is expected to live 86.61 years since 2013.

Tokyo Bay
Tokyo Bay is a bay that spans the coasts of Tokyo. The bay is approximately 1,320km2 and is connected to the Pacific Ocean by the Uraga channel. It has a surface area of 150km2 and has an average depth of 40 metres, although it is 70 metres at it's deepest point. The Tokyo Bay includes the island of Sarushima, located at Yokosuka.
Climate
The Tokyo Summers are reasonably hot, however they still have a
fairly high rainfall during these months (June, July and August) The highest
rainfall is in Autumn especially during months of September and October. Both
the temperature and rainfall are at their lowest during the months of December
and January.

topography
There are two rivers that run through Tokyo. These are the Samuda river and the Tama river. Tokyo's topography allows for high levels of precipitation. This is because of Tokyo's very mountainous terrains.
